Hi! I am a seasoned marketing professional hailing from the picturesque town of Kensington, PEI with a passion for marketing, community engagement and public relations.
I've spent twenty-plus years proving that marketing doesn't end at the sale. Engagement is what brings people back.
I've convinced people to eat crickets in exchange for a free ticket. I've hung 10,000 orange lights on a mini-golf course tripling sales for the month, sailed the Gulf of Maine on a giant catamaran, and organized a wedding on a ferry. I've run a Chamber of Commerce, doubled the revenue of its awards gala, and managed almost 20 Facebook and Instagram accounts all at once. I've worked on community enhancement projects installing murals, flower boxes and interpretive panels in my hometown.
The through-line is that none of it is really about the lights, the crickets, or the boat. It's about getting people in the same room (or on the same deck) doing something memorable together. A pastry-eating contest turns customers into regulars. A ferry Christmas party turns commuters into a community. "Pass the Petal" turns Chamber members into people who actually show up for each other.
Trust gets built in the moments people enjoy, and I've made a career of designing those moments.
I'm based in Kensington, PEI, with a Bachelor of Commerce from Saint Mary's University, a digital marketing certificate from eCornell, and I'm working through a public relations certificate at Simon Fraser University.
